Role Description

As a Procurement Analyst in Chennai, India, you will play a pivotal role in managing the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle, ensuring seamless requisition processing, purchase order management, and vendor payments. This full-time position demands a detail-oriented professional with expertise in Oracle ePro and GSC systems. You'll optimize procurement workflows, mitigate risks, and support strategic sourcing initiatives, directly impacting Guardian's operational efficiency and cost savings.

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate strong understanding of the full P2P lifecycle, including requisitions, PO creation, receiving, and invoicing, with hands-on familiarity in procurement systems like Oracle ePro and GSC.
  • Ensure ePro requisitions, purchase orders, and receiving workflows are completed accurately and on time to maintain supply chain continuity.
  • Proactively follow up with requesters on delayed receiving to facilitate timely payment releases and maximize discount capture.
  • Create, review, and submit requisitions for goods and services using ERP systems such as Oracle Finance ERP, handling catalog, non-catalog, punchout, and eCheck requisitions with precision.
  • Verify correct Business Unit (BU), delivery location, and requester details before initiating requisitions, ensuring compliance and error-free processing.
  • Maintain comprehensive requisition records, including detailed justification notes and invoice attachments, for seamless audit readiness and transparency.
  • Leverage eProcurement tools proficiently to resolve user queries, troubleshoot system issues, and enhance team productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sourcing, finance, and operations, to resolve approval bottlenecks and streamline procurement processes.
  • Monitor procurement metrics, identify process improvements, and contribute to vendor management strategies for cost optimization.
  • Stay updated on organizational procurement policies, contracting guidelines, and regulatory requirements to mitigate risks.

  • ERP Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Oracle Finance ERP, ePro, or equivalent procurement systems.
