Role Description

We are seeking a strategic, collaborative, and innovative Enterprise AI Strategy Leader for Guardian’s Enterprise Strategy team. In this highly visible role, you will shape Guardian's long-term AI strategy, partnering with senior leaders to identify, develop, evaluate, and prioritize AI initiatives across the organization. Reporting to the Head of Strategic Growth & Planning, you will lead cross-functional teams to ensure AI investments align with our enterprise goals and deliver strong ROI.

You'll collaborate with Corporate Development, AI Strategic Transformation, Data & Technology, Finance, and business units, while coaching a team of associates and analysts. This position offers unparalleled exposure to executive decision-making, including Guardian Leadership Team meetings and Board presentations.

Detailed Responsibilities

• AI Market Intelligence & Competitive Research: Identify emerging AI trends, tools, and opportunities across industries to inform Guardian's strategy.
• AI Investment Alignment: Ensure AI capabilities support enterprise-wide strategy, integrating with portfolio planning for maximum impact.
• Enterprise-Wide Strategic Synthesis: Analyze AI needs, challenges, and opportunities across functions, spotting scalable use cases and collaborations.
• AI Investment Tracking: Monitor costs and returns in partnership with Finance and Data & Technology to prove enterprise value.
• AI Governance: Implement governance models for decisions like build/buy/partner, ensuring stakeholder alignment.
• Strategy Communications: Create compelling materials for senior leadership, Steering Committees, and Board discussions.
• Lead cross-functional projects, coach team members, and drive data-driven recommendations using strategic frameworks.

Compensation Overview

Salary Range: $152,290.00 - $250,195.00 annually. This good-faith estimate reflects base pay for this hybrid role in New York. Actual compensation considers experience, skills, and qualifications. Includes competitive incentives, performance bonuses, and equity opportunities.
