Role Description

This role will collaborate closely with our sales, client management, training, and product marketing teams to develop and execute omnichannel marketing strategies that enable our broker partner community and employers to better understand Guardian’s group benefits services and solutions, including our Supplemental Health benefits suite. The successful candidate will develop and implement ROI-driven marketing plans across a variety of marketing channels, including sales enablement, digital marketing, and account-based marketing (ABM), to generate demand for the seamless, high-quality group benefits experiences our solutions offer.

This role requires strategic thinking in a fast-paced environment, business acumen, collaboration, prioritization, a passion for our customers, and commitment to diversity and inclusion. As a Field Marketing Manager at Guardian Life, you'll drive business growth through targeted campaigns, leveraging data and insights to deliver measurable results in the competitive insurance and financial services landscape.

Detailed Responsibilities

You will:

  • Develop and implement results-oriented marketing plans executed across a variety of marketing channels, including digital, account-based marketing, and events, to generate demand for seamless, effortless, high-quality group benefits solutions.
  • Establish KPIs and goals for campaign programs and communicate the results to key business stakeholders. Ensure successful ROI-focused planning, implementation, and execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to create sales enablement tools, customer segmentation strategies, and omnichannel campaigns that drive pipeline growth.
  • Analyze campaign data, develop hypotheses, and optimize programs in real-time to achieve business objectives.
  • Partner with subject matter experts and executives to translate business needs into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Leverage marketing automation platforms, ABM tools like Demandbase, and sales collateral platforms like Seismic to maximize impact.
  • Conduct virtual presentations to engage sales teams and stakeholders, delivering technical content at appropriate levels.
  • Monitor market trends in insurance, financial services, and employee benefits to inform innovative field marketing approaches.

Required Skills

You are:

  • A successful B2B2C Marketer with Sales Enablement Marketing experience who thrives in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. You are well-organized and have a collaborative, flexible personality who adapts easily to change.
  • Able to drive alignment between marketing, product, and sales to further business growth, building relationships across functions.
  • Experienced with translating business objectives into marketing campaigns, including one-to-many ABM programs, with proven results.
  • Comfortable collaborating with SMEs, executives, and peers to create sales enablement tools and inform segmentation.
  • Excellent communicator with strong executive presence, both written and verbal.

Education & Experience

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of B2B/B2B2C or complex multi-step sales field/regional marketing campaign management and sales enablement experience.
  • Strong track record of developing and executing B2B2C multi-channel field marketing programs with tangible results, including customer segmentation.
  • Virtual presentation skills for engaging sales teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven collaboration with sales reps and management.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms, prospecting databases, web analytics, social media management, and social selling platforms.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT) and sales collateral platforms (e.g., Seismic).
  • Experience in insurance/financial services, ABM (e.g., Demandbase) a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated willingness to “roll up your sleeves” to get things done.

Compensation Overview

Competitive base salary range: $103,450 - $169,960 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Total compensation includes performance-based incentives, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.
