Role Description

The Head of Producer Digital Platform at Guardian Life will spearhead the end-to-end technology strategy, architecture, and delivery of a modern digital ecosystem designed to empower producers, agents, and distribution partners. This executive role drives innovation, scalability, and seamless integrations across sales, servicing, and engagement channels, boosting producer productivity and delivering exceptional digital experiences.

Reporting directly to the Head of Distribution and Wealth Management Technology, you will oversee a strategic initiative to create a cohesive, user-friendly platform spanning protection and wealth product lines. Leverage AI-powered solutions like advanced CRM systems and financial planning tools to revolutionize sales and service operations, personalize engagement, and unlock insights for growth and efficiency. Detailed Responsibilities

• Define, refine, and execute the technology vision and roadmap for the producer platform, aligning with business and distribution strategies.
• Lead architecture, engineering, DevOps, and data integration to deliver seamless, scalable, secure experiences; manage domestic, off/near-shore, FTE, and contract teams.
• Collaborate with business, product, and UX teams to convert producer needs into high-adoption digital capabilities.
• Oversee platform modernization, API enablement, and integrations with CRM, policy administration, Guardian ecosystem, and analytics.
• Implement AI, foundational data, and API standards to avoid future tech debt.
• Establish engineering, security standards for reliability, performance, and compliance.
• Build and mentor high-performing teams, promoting innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.
• Manage vendors, budgets, and resources for timely, cost-effective delivery.
• Measure and report platform health, adoption, and business impact.
• Monitor competitors, industry trends, and emerging technologies for strategic recommendations.
• Ensure solutions scale for future enhancements and accelerate time-to-market.
• Foster a culture of digital innovation and ongoing development.

Required Skills

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 10+ years leading large-scale initiatives and development projects with teams of 25+ professionals.
• Proven vendor management, including SLAs and service negotiations.
• 10+ years collaborating with business users on IT systems.
• Experience with CRM implementations, especially Salesforce.
• Deep knowledge of Financial Services and Wealth Management.
• Track record in digital technology strategy creation and execution.
• Excellent communication for articulating complex ideas.
• Agile/Scaled Agile Framework expertise for team effectiveness.
• Modern web architecture (React), CI/CD, performance testing, personalization.
• AI deployments focused on end-user digital experiences.
• UX/UI experience preferred.
