Role Description

The Digital Adoption Leader, reporting to the Head of Digital Workplace and Collaboration, is a senior-level individual contributor and engineer with exceptional communication skills. This role leads Guardian Life’s digital adoption strategy and execution for all workplace and collaboration technologies. You’ll empower colleagues to maximize digital tools like Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Intune, and Windows 11, enhancing productivity and engagement. Acting as a key liaison between IT, business units, and end users, you’ll ensure seamless communication, lifecycle management, and successful technology adoption in a complex, fast-paced environment.

Detailed Responsibilities

Digital Adoption Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and lead comprehensive digital adoption strategies for workplace technologies.
  • Drive adoption of Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, Copilot), mobile platforms (iOS/Android), and MDM via Microsoft Intune.
  • Support Windows 11, macOS, and Apple device adoption.
  • Design change management and education programs.
  • Establish and manage a Digital Champions Network for peer-to-peer learning.

Communication & Enablement

  • Track, plan, and communicate new features, updates, and best practices for collaboration and endpoint tech.
  • Create engaging webinars, sessions, and content for diverse user personas.
  • Partner with internal communications for consistent messaging.

IT Partnership & Technical Enablement

  • Collaborate with IT on technical updates and roadmaps.
  • Translate tech capabilities into business value.
  • Provide user feedback to IT and vendors.
  • Support deployment of Windows 11/macOS, Intune MDM, SCCM, VDI (Amazon Workspaces, Windows 365, AVD), app streaming, and Nexthink analytics.

Lifecycle & Vendor Management

  • Own lifecycle management of workplace technologies.
  • Monitor vendor roadmaps for opportunities/risks.
  • Partner with procurement on investments.

Analytics & Continuous Improvement

  • Define/track KPIs for adoption and engagement.
  • Analyze data for targeted interventions.
  • Refine strategies based on feedback and needs.

Required Skills

Ideal candidates excel in digital adoption platforms, Microsoft 365, and user experience optimization.

Education & Experience

  • 8+ years in digital transformation, IT enablement, or workplace tech.
  • Proven Microsoft 365/collaboration adoption experience.
  • Strong knowledge of mobile/endpoint management and VDI.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder skills.
  • Cross-functional experience with IT, HR, Communications.
  • Familiarity with WalkMe, Nexthink.
  • Bachelor’s in IT, Business, Communications (preferred) or equivalent experience.

Compensation Overview

Base salary: $101,180 - $166,220 annually, based on experience. Total rewards include bonuses, equity, and more.
