Role Description

Our Digital team is seeking a Manager, BenTech Support & Solutioning to lead a team of API Solution Leads and BenTech Partner Support Leads. This leader will shape the strategy for partner integrations and mature the support model for our benefits technology ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings leadership experience, deep knowledge of benefits technology (BenTech), and a passion for continuous improvement and customer excellence. Reporting to the Sr. Product Manager, Head of Benefits Technology Strategy, you'll act as a liaison between technology, business leadership, and external partners, ensuring seamless alignment and communication.

Detailed Responsibilities

You will drive strategic initiatives and operational excellence in this high-impact role. Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of API Solution Leads and BenTech Partner Support Leads, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and high performance.
  • Build and champion the broader API and integration strategy, aligning business objectives with market opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative, customer-centric, and innovative team culture while providing coaching for professional growth.
  • Ensure timely resolution of partner and client issues related to integrations, platform functionality, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Oversee documentation and tracking of customer interactions, meeting SLAs and addressing recurring issues.
  • Escalate complex issues and drive long-term solutions in partnership with Product and Development teams.
  • Mature the business model by engaging with business leaders and partners to identify opportunities and advance integration capabilities.
  • Represent Guardian's interests in industry forums, among carrier and BenTech partners.
  • Monitor adoption, consumption metrics, and user feedback to identify improvements and keep solutions best-in-class.

  • Strong technical acumen in APIs, EDI workflows, and data integrations.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Customer-centric mindset with passion for exceptional service.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience with benefits administration, HR platforms, or payroll systems is a plus.

Compensation Overview

Salary Range: $103,450 - $169,960 (USD, yearly). This good faith estimate reflects base pay for Boston. Actual salary determined by education, experience, knowledge, and abilities. Eligible for annual, sales, or other incentives.
