Role Description

The Product Manager, Disability is pivotal in defining, implementing, and enhancing Disability offerings. You'll coordinate go-to-market strategies, manage the product lifecycle, and partner with distribution, marketing, underwriting, and claims teams. This role demands an entrepreneurial spirit, financial acumen, and a passion for customer-centric solutions in the disability, absence, and supplemental health insurance space. Work independently or collaboratively to align products with Guardian's goals, monitor KPIs, and deliver results in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Develop a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with Guardian’s strategic objectives for Disability solutions.
• Monitor and refine existing Disability product strategies, acting as an evangelist for customer wellness.
• Own KPI monitoring to ensure adoption and performance targets are met.
• Collaborate with product managers, matrix partners, and stakeholders on shared initiatives.
• Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, externally, and in public forums.
• Influence negotiations with vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Execute product management processes from development to launch.
• Conduct market research, analyze feedback, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Deliver reports, product plans, and competitive analyses to stakeholders.
• Create compelling presentations for webinars, broker meetings, roadshows, and industry events.
• Serve as the Disability SME internally and externally.
• Lead projects or sub-teams and support other group products as needed.

• Comfort in ambiguous, high-pressure settings with entrepreneurial drive.
