Role Description

The Senior Consultant IT role in our MCoE focuses on architecting high-performance iOS applications for Android and iOS platforms. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to ship features, ensure app reliability during high-stakes moments, and consult on affiliate vendor apps. This Gurgaon-based position demands deep iOS expertise, leadership in code quality, and a passion for Apple's ecosystem. Detailed Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform using Swift and Cocoa Touch.
• Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of all applications under real-world conditions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship innovative new features.
• Identify bottlenecks, fix bugs, and implement performance optimizations.
• Maintain high code quality, organization, and automation through best practices.
• Lead architecture decisions for offline storage, threading, and memory management.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and cloud messaging for seamless back-end connectivity.
• Mentor junior developers and provide consulting on vendor-developed apps.
• Drive continuous integration, benchmarking, and instrumentation for production readiness.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Swift and Cocoa Touch for native iOS development.
• Hands-on experience with iOS frameworks like Core Data, Core Animation.
• Expertise in offline storage, multi-threading, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and push notifications via cloud message APIs.
• Strong knowledge of Apple’s design principles, UI/UX standards, and code versioning tools (e.g., Git).
• Experience with low-level C-based libraries, memory tuning, and debugging tools.
• Track record in asynchronous, multi-threaded code and cross-organization collaboration.
• Passion for quality, benchmarking, optimization, and continuous integration.

Education & Experience

Experience: 15+ years in software engineering, with significant iOS development leadership.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven track record in high-stakes app development, preferably in fintech or insurance. Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams essential.
