Role Description

As the Senior Product Filing Analyst / Product Filing Consultant, you will support Guardian's Group Benefits strategy by ensuring all product filings comply with state and federal regulations. This role demands a compliance-focused professional who thrives in analytical work, managing multiple deliverables under tight deadlines while adapting to changing priorities. You'll take full ownership of projects, from drafting simplified language to securing approvals via SERFF, maintaining product integrity throughout.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Apply simplified language writing tools to develop contract language complying with state and federal requirements for life and health products.
• File newly developed products, enhanced products, rates, advertising, compliance, and regulatory filings by target dates, supporting the entire process until approval.
• Take full ownership of assigned project work, adhering to department processes and procedures.
• Perform research and analysis on filing-related requests to support business needs.
• Understand product initiatives and collaborate with impacted business areas through the filing process.
• Submit timely state filings ensuring compliant approvals that maintain intended product integrity.
• Work independently and as a member of the State Filing Team to drive successful outcomes.

Education & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in contract drafting and filing, life and health product development, or compliance-related duties.
• Good understanding of group and individual life and health products.
• Proficiency with SERFF (System for Electronic Rate and Form Filing).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong judgment skills for navigating complex regulatory landscapes.
• High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.

Compensation Overview

The base salary range for this Senior Product Filing Analyst position in Bethlehem, United States, is $68,970.00 - $113,310.00 annually. Actual pay is determined by education, experience, knowledge, and abilities. This role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation, enhancing total rewards.
