• Prepare and cook high-quality Mexican dishes following our established recipe guide
• Work efficiently with fresh ingredients to create vibrant and authentic flavors
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely food delivery
• Adapt to changing customer demands and maintain productivity during peak hours
• Contribute to menu development and suggest improvements to enhance our offerings
• Participate in inventory management and assist with ordering supplies as needed
• Ensure consistent portion control and presentation of all dishes
• Assist in training new kitchen staff members on recipes and procedures
• Actively engage in continuous learning to stay updated on culinary trends and techniques

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a Mexican or fast-casual restaurant setting
• Strong knowledge of Mexican cuisine and flavor profiles
• Food safety and hygiene certification
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and managing inventory
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Passion for creating delicious food and providing an exceptional customer experience
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and kitchen equipment
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
