We are currently on the lookout for people who love hospitality to join the opening team at our NEW SEAFORD Restaurant! 

This is an exciting opportunity for people who come from all kinds of experience levels, whether this is your first job, team leaders looking for their first managerial role or someone who loves the energy at GYG. Whatever it might be, we have a position for you!

GYG Seaford will be opening mid 2026, with training to commence as soon as possible in our existing stores at Carrum Downs, Cranbourne, Aspendale Gardens or Moorabbin. Our opening team is mission critical in setting up our restaurant for success, and we need you to help us. 

• Crew - Our Crew members are the life blood of GYG. You are on the front line, greeting customers, taking orders, rolling burritos, re-stocking the fridges, basic food prep, wiping tables, and learning other roles across the team. You’ll get exposure to every aspect of what goes into running a busy, GYG business.
• Cooks - As a Cook at GYG, you will be at the heart of our mission to serve up the best Mexican food experience. Following the GYG recipe guide, your role will see you working with fresh ingredients and vibrant Mexican flavours, delivering quality creations for our new and loyal guests.  ​
• Shift Leaders - are responsible for effectively leading the team during specific periods of trade and motivating and engaging the team on shift, by championing our food safety and food quality standards. You will be leading the team during busy service periods, crew training and proactively improving guest experience.

We appreciate diverse experience, but specifically we are looking for candidates that have:  

• Experience in hospitality venues or fast paced environments is great but not essential
• You’re open to coaching, eager to learn and ready to put in the effort
• ‘Can do’ attitude and can be relied upon to follow through
