We’re opening a brand-new restaurant in Cranebrook in June, and we’re looking for an experienced Head Cook to help build, train and lead the kitchen team that will bring our food to life.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a leadership role where you’re not just cooking — you’re helping create a kitchen and culture from the ground up.

As a Head Cook, you’ll be trusted to:

• Build and lead a brand-new kitchen team, supporting the restaurant leadership team with hands-on training before the restaurant even opens.
• Set the standard for food quality, speed and consistency from day one, ensuring every dish reflects GYG’s bold flavours and fresh ingredients.
• Support the full restaurant opening, including prep, training, operational readiness and opening execution.
• Work closely with the Restaurant Manager and leadership team to ensure smooth operations, strong communication and a positive team culture.

• Grow your career — this role is a pathway into senior kitchen leadership, Assistant Restaurant Management or broader operational roles.
