Overview

Handshake is seeking Environmental Scientists and Specialists to join an hourly, temporary AI research project. No AI experience is needed. You'll use your professional experience to evaluate AI model outputs, assess content, and provide feedback to improve the model's understanding of workplace tasks and language. This is a year-round opportunity with projects opening periodically across different areas of expertise.

Day in the Life

As an AI Trainer, your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Evaluating AI-generated text and code related to environmental science topics.
  • Developing prompts to guide AI models in generating accurate and relevant content.
  • Providing feedback on the quality and usefulness of AI-generated outputs.
  • Collaborating with other AI trainers and researchers to improve model performance.
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest developments in environmental science and AI.
