Role Overview

Handshake is seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Fellow Experience Specialist to provide critical support to our Handshake MOVE Fellows in India. As a contract role, this position focuses on ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our Fellows by managing payments, contracts, and addressing general inquiries. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy problem-solving, and possess excellent communication and technical skills.

This role is a pivotal part of the Handshake AI Ops team. You’ll be working with AI researchers, PhDs, and subject matter experts while providing general support to Handshake MOVE Fellows. Your expertise ensures that our Fellows have a smooth, efficient experience by managing payments, contracts, and answering general inquiries. This position is ideal for candidates who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy solving problems, and have superior communication and technical skills.

Day in the Life

As a Fellow Experience Specialist, your day will be dynamic and varied. Approximately 80% of your time will be dedicated to resolving questions, disputes, and handling contract-related tasks. You will manage a high volume of tickets, addressing a wide range of inquiries. 10% of your time will be spent on priority initiatives aimed at improving business processes. The remaining 10% will be divided between team meetings and administrative tasks such as responding to emails, checking daily announcements, and participating in training sessions.

In this role, you’ll have opportunities to showcase your troubleshooting abilities through complex workflows. You’ll use tools like BigQuery, SQL, Google Sheets, and Looker to build custom reports. You will also be communicating directly with fellows, building relationships and providing tailored responses. You will also leverage app environments, trouble-shooting tools, internal and external documentation, and team communication channels to find quality answers for a wide range of users.

This contract position is based in India to provide dedicated support to our Handshake MOVE Fellows within the region.
