Job Description

The Role

As the Associate Director of Product Management for Ready-to-Eat (RTE), you will be a pivotal leader responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, and execution for a key pillar of the HelloFresh Group. You will lead and mentor a team of Product Managers, ensuring our products align with our overarching mission to change the way people eat, forever. Success in this role requires embracing the HelloFresh DNA—particularly Speed & Agility, Data Drivenness, and Relentless Prioritization—to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions across our RTE business.

You will

  • Own the Product Vision: Define and champion the long-term product vision, strategy, and roadmap for your domain, ensuring a Long-Term Orientation that builds a scalable and sustainable organization for tomorrow.
  • Team Development: Recruit, manage, coach, and develop a talented team of Product Managers, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and the Learning Never Stops mindset.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Establish shared vision and build consensus across the company, collaborating effectively with executive leadership and functional partners (Engineering, Design, Operations) to secure alignment on strategies and priorities.

You are

  • Hands-on and solve problems on the spot
  • Resilient and comfortable with occasional re-prioritization
  • Not interested in playing politics. You know that the best idea wins
  • Ready to learn on the job and realize that in every task there lies a personal growth opportunity
  • Consistently tracking KPI’s and metrics in as close to real-time as possible to move fast, spot trends, and react to them early
  • Clear on who your team’s customer is and how you can best create value for them
  • Someone who prefers sustainable growth over shortcuts and frequently asks yourself if what we build today will serve us well in the long-run

You have

  • 7+ years of experience in Product Management, with a minimum of 3+ years in a people management or Associate Director/Director-level capacity.
  • Essential Experience: Proven track record of owning end-to-end processes and driving business outcomes (not just feature delivery) in a domain with complex physical or supply chain operations (e.g., food tech, e-commerce fulfillment, manufacturing, or logistics).
  • Demonstrated experience in leading significant organizational or process change and driving tool adoption among diverse user groups (e.g., Operations, Culinary, or Customer Service).
  • Demonstrable experience defining, gaining cross-functional alignment on, and rigorously measuring key business and product KPIs to drive accountability and results.
  • Exceptional ability to lead through influence and consensus-building, demonstrating mastery of clear and influential communication across technical and non-technical teams, including other Product leadership.
  • Strong analytical foundation, capable of translating complex data into actionable product insights and strategic direction.

You’ll get

  • Competitive salary, 401k with company match that vests immediately upon participation, and company equity plan based on role
  • Generous PTO, including sabbatical, and parental leave of up to 16 weeks
  • Comprehensive health and wellness benefits with options at $0 monthly, effective first day of employment
  • Tuition reimbursement for continuing education
  • Up to 75% discount on subscriptions to HelloFresh meal plans (HelloFresh, Green Chef, Everyplate, and Factor_)
  • Access to 7 different Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) including those for BIPOC, women, veterans, parents, and LGBTQ+
  • Inclusive, collaborative, and dynamic work environment within a fast-paced, mission-driven company that is disrupting the traditional food supply chain

"Our company is committed to fair hiring practices and complies with all applicable laws, including the Colorado Job Application Fairness Act (JAFA). In accordance with JAFA, we will not request your age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution on your initial application for employment.
