Kitchen Area Manager

 

Factor_, a HelloFresh brand, is looking for you as a Kitchen Area Manager (m/f/d). As Kitchen Area Manager, you will take overall responsibility for several kitchen areas and work closely with the Kitchen Supervisors and the Executive Chef. You will ensure that all processes are carried out efficiently, safely, and to a high standard of quality, and your leadership skills, strategic vision, and hands-on approach will make a decisive contribution to the success of our production.

You will.. 

  • You are responsible for the operational and disciplinary management of several kitchen areas and their supervisors.
  • You ensure compliance with all safety, hygiene, and quality standards (IfSG, HACCP, ArbSchG).
  • You monitor quality controls, storage, rotation, presentation, and temperature measurements and initiate measures in the event of deviations.
  • You will ensure that equipment, materials, and resources are used and maintained efficiently.
  • You will identify potential for process improvements, implement measures, and support company-wide initiatives.
  • You will analyze performance indicators, conduct audits, and report regularly to the Executive Chef.
  • You coordinate tasks and priorities between different departments and ensure a smooth production flow.
  • You are responsible for accident and incident management, initiate preventive measures, and ensure compliance with occupational safety regulations.
  • You support supervisors in their leadership roles, develop your team, and ensure a motivated, productive work environment.

You have..

  • You have completed training or have relevant professional experience in food production, catering, or a comparable environment.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of food hygiene, cold chain management, and quality standards.
  • You work in a structured, detail-oriented manner and have a strong understanding of organization and logistics.
  • You are confident in using IT systems (e.g., MSKU, Redzone, GSuite) and use them to control processes and key figures.
  • You are solution-oriented, flexible, and can keep track of multiple tasks.
  • You lead teams in a motivating and goal-oriented manner and support supervisors in the development of their areas.
  • You feel comfortable in different kitchen environments—whether hot, cool, or cold.
