Job Description

As the S&OP Lead you will be the driving force in harmonising cross functional inputs from marketing, product, and operations to develop integrated, forward looking business plans. This role ensures alignment across the business, providing a single source of truth for all teams to enable effective resource allocation and strategic decision making for our meal kit brands, HelloFresh and EveryPlate, across Australia and New Zealand.

This role is based in the Sydney Head Office (Chippendale) and reports to the Director of Supply Chain Operations & Planning . This is a permanent full time role in a hybrid working environment.

You will...

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for SKUs and categories by collaborating with key cross-functional teams like marketing, procurement, and product.
• Translate demand forecasts into actionable supply plans, considering production capacity, raw material availability, and supplier lead times.
• Facilitate regular S&OP meetings and workshops with stakeholders to align on a single, unified business plan.
• Optimise inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimising holding costs and waste.
• Track and report on key S&OP metrics like forecast accuracy, service levels, and inventory turns to drive continuous improvement.
• Identify and proactively mitigate potential supply chain risks, such as supplier disruptions or sudden shifts in market demand.
• Potentially manage and develop a team of up to two Demand Planners (open to individual contributor or manager candidates).

You have...

• At least 3 years of experience in forecasting, demand planning, or a similar S&OP related role.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a field like Engineering or Business, with strong statistical and mathematical skills.
• Technical proficiency in data analysis software such as Google Sheets, Excel, and SQL.
• The ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
