As the Work Health & Safety Advisor (ANZ), you will play a key role in providing expert support and advice on all matters related to workplace health, safety, injury management, and return-to-work tasks. Operating within a collaborative safety team across Australia and New Zealand, the role will contribute to the development of programs, initiatives, and training, while delivering onsite WHS and RTW support at HelloFresh Distribution Centres.

This role is based in Eastern Creek, Sydney and reports to the Associate Director, Work Health & Safety ANZ.

You will…

  • Manage KPIs and business metrics for return-to-work (RTW) and incident management, contributing to communication strategies and initiatives to improve performance.
  • Provide progress updates on Workers' Compensation cases to the Associate Director of Work Health & Safety.
  • Organize and review data for reporting on RTW and safety performance to senior management.
  • Oversee RTW coordination at distribution centres, liaising with injured workers and team leaders to ensure progress in RTW programs.
  • Administer documentation and create individualized RTW plans, considering role and capacity requirements.
  • Support Line Managers in implementing health and safety initiatives and conducting risk assessments and workplace inspections.
  • Offer WHS advice and training to Line Managers and production staff as necessary.
  • Promote continuous safety improvement opportunities and compliance across sites.
  • Oversee internal incident reporting and investigations, ensuring effective monitoring and timely resolution of corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the production team to maintain day-to-day health and safety communications and support.

You have…

  • A Certificate IV in WHS with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in workplace health and safety (essential).
  • Previous experience in a logistics, warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment (preferred).
  • A comprehensive understanding of the Work Health and Safety legislation.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with proven interpersonal abilities.
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills to handle competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated capability in developing toolbox communication and training resources.
  • Experience in delivering workplace training sessions and mentoring employees.
  • Expertise in all aspects of risk management.
  • A Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (preferred).
