We are seeking a Restaurant Outlet Assistant Manager to join our team.

Nestled in the heart of downtown Austin, our hotel boasts 800+ guest rooms, 112,000+ square feet of event space and 3 outlets with two unique dining options.

Your charismatic and innovative leadership approach will be instrumental to build strong relationships and lead our team to think outside the box. 

In this role, you'll have your finger on the pulse of product and service satisfaction trends, making improvements and adjustments as needed to ensure our guests leave happy and come back for more. And speaking of happy guests, you'll also ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol awareness standards to keep everyone safe and having a great time.

What will I be doing?
 

As an Assistant Outlet Manager, you would be responsible for in directing and organizing the activities and services of the coffee bar to deliver an excellent guest experience. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Management of operations to include, but not limited to, guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, cost controls and overall profitability, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation

  • Monitoring and developing team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, conducting counselling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward

  • Monitoring and assessing product quality and service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards

  • Assist in initiating and implementing marketing and up-selling techniques to promote restaurant food and beverage and services and to maximize overall revenue

  • Recruiting, interviewing and training team members

  • Act in the absence of the manager, as needed

  • Manage inventory, controls, revenue productions, and other hotel financial statements.

What will I be doing?
