ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Electrician who will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and monitoring of all electrical systems within the hotel. You will ensure operational continuity, respond to maintenance requests promptly and support the Engineering Team in delivering exceptional service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform shift duties and support daily engineering operations.

• Inspect, maintain and repair internal and external electrical distribution systems, transformers and generators.

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical circuits and motors within mechanical systems.

• Respond to all electrical Repair & Maintenance requests efficiently and professionally.

• Record and report daily and monthly electricity meter readings to the Engineering Office.

• Comply with all Hilton Health & Safety and Fire Life Safety procedures.

• Maintain workshop tools and equipment, ensuring they are in safe, operable condition at all times.

• Monitor and oversee the work of external contractors to ensure compliance with Hilton Standards.

• Support repair and maintenance of audio, visual and communication systems when required.

• Assist in the maintenance and inspection of telephone systems, TV circuits and elevators.

• Perform elevator rescue operations safely, following Hilton guidelines and protocols.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Technical or vocational school graduate in Electricity/Electronics or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Electrician, ideally in hospitality or large-scale facilities.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, distribution panels, circuits and generators.

• Ability to work in shifts and manage tasks in a busy operational environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Team-oriented, responsible and proactive work approach.

• Knowledge of hospitality maintenance systems and elevator rescue procedures is an advantage.
