To ensure the cleanliness and availability of kitchen utensils, dishware, and service equipment by operating dishwashing equipment, maintaining sanitation standards, and supporting the back-of-house team in a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

What will I be doing?

Dishwashing & Equipment Support

• Operate industrial dishwashers and clean all cooking utensils, kitchen equipment, glassware, silverware, and chinaware.
• Restock clean items in the designated locations for line cooks, servers, and team members' dining areas.
• Polish silverware and specialty service items as assigned.

Sanitation & Waste Management

• Maintain clean workstations, storage areas, and dish stations in compliance with Aruba health and sanitation codes.
• Empty and sanitize trash containers regularly and transport waste to designated collection areas.
• Separate recyclables and follow hotel waste management and sustainability guidelines.

Stocking & Logistics

• Receive and store deliveries of dry goods and kitchen supplies in the correct storage areas.
• Organize and rotate inventory to ensure proper usage and maintain cleanliness and order.

Safety & Cleanliness

• Clean floors, walls, and prep areas to prevent slips, falls, and contamination.
• Use and store cleaning chemicals in accordance with hotel and OSHA standards.
• Ensure proper handling of linen by keeping soiled laundry separate from clean inventory.
