The Life Guard ensures the smooth operation of the pool, providing guests with excellent service and information of all spa services and retail products. 

What will I be doing? 

Guest Safety & Supervision

• Maintain constant supervision of guests in and around the pool and ensure a safe environment at all times.
• Enforce all pool rules and regulations courteously and consistently.
• Monitor water quality and report any concerns to the supervisor.

Emergency Response

• Respond immediately and effectively to all emergencies, accidents, or incidents.
• Administer first aid, CPR, or rescue breathing as required.
• Document all incidents as per hotel policy.

Operations & Maintenance

• Ensure pool deck, swimming area, and surrounding facilities are clean, hygienic, and well-maintained.
• Conduct regular checks of safety equipment, floatation devices, and lifeguard tools.
• Assist with pool opening/closing procedures and water testing.

Guest Experience & Service

• Greet guests courteously and assist with inquiries related to the pool, towels, cabanas, or recreation activities.
• Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and safety guidelines.
• Promote a friendly and welcoming atmosphere aligned with luxury hospitality standards.

What are we looking for? 

A Lifeguard serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow: 

• Certified Lifeguard (RLSSC/STA/Equivalent) – mandatory

• Valid First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a lifeguard, preferably in a 5-star hotel, resort, or club.
• Strong swimming and rescue skills; ability to remain alert for long periods.
• Excellent communication skills and guest service orientation.
• Physically fit with the ability to perform rescues and emergency procedures.
