Required Qualifications
- 2 years hotel event manager experience at large property (experience)
- Experience with Delphi Amadeus Salesforce FDC preferred (experience)
- Experience with forecasting groups and collecting payments (experience)
Responsibilities
- Execute sales agreements for large-scale complex events with >300 room nights
- Negotiate terms and pricing of vendor and service agreements
- Maintain relationships with customers and hotel
- Initiate communication outlining event details including payment, room blocks, F&B, rentals, fees, revenues, damages, billing
- Partner with operations departments
- Monitor and develop team member performance including supervision, development, counseling, evaluations, recognition
- Monitor service trends, address issues
- Recruit, interview, train team members
