Job Description:

Summary
Hitachi Panama business has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Associate Contract Manager to join our team in Panama. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of project management principles. Responsibilities
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects
• Monitor project progress against schedule and take corrective action as needed
• Identify potential risks and issues early on and develop mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any problems or disputes that arise during project execution
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards
• Document and maintain records related to project activities and communications
• Report to senior management on project status and provide updates throughout the lifecycle of each project

Qualifications

Required Skills/ Knowledge

  • Minimum 3 years of contract/commercial management experience (preferably in construction projects)
  • Experienced in dealing with external stakeholders (Clients/ Main Subcontractors)
  • Risk Management Experience
  • Contract Management Experience
  • Excellence in Achieving Assigned Objectives
  • Experience in the rail sector highly appreciated
  • Experience/skills in Project Management or similar role will be considered
     

Education / Qualifications


Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Law/Business Administration

Specialization in Construction Law/Business Administration will be considered

Languages

Spanish mother tongue or fluent

Conversational English level
