The opportunity

Manufacturing Process Definition & Improvement focuses on manufacturing operational improvement and cost savings to improve the organization's profitability and efficiency including: Analyze designs, methods and internal manufacturing processes. Develop strategies and initiatives for operational efficiency. Implement process improvements and changes in product design and manufacturing methods. Implements continuous improvement initiatives using various Lean methodologies and principles (e.g., 5S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Kaizen, etc.) An Entry Professional (P1) applies broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education. May require the following proficiency: Work is closely supervised. Problems faced are not typically difficult or complex. Explains facts, policies and practices related to job area.

How you’ll make an impact

• Implement Lean Manufacturing methods such as Shop Floor Management, 5s, TPM, Changeover
• Improvise productivity, quality, and profitability through keen data analysis and process engineering significantly improve operations & provide efficient solution.
• Organization and cross functionally domestic organizational activity. (Sourcing, Purchasing, Engineering, Operations and Customer Service) to meet project schedules.
• Should have hands on experience in development of jigs & fixtures, SPM.
• Proactively informs shopfloor issue status based on inputs and clarifies any questions & Works independently with cross functional department for solution.
• Proactively plans, Monitors and controls project activities, encompassing project handover, execution planning and oversight to achieve objectives.
• Develops a project – specific master documents list and ensure regular updates. executes process activities while maintaining documentation in accordance with ISO and internal process requirements throughout the project life cycle.
• Collaborating with engineering and customers to secure timely approval of drawings and documents, resolving all project – related queries or issues during the execution phase.
• Acquiring necessary services, materials and equipment from both external and internal suppliers, helping in negotiations, addressing claims , and managing project changes .
• Managing all aspects of the project to agreed-upon customer requirements and ensuring all technical, safety, quality and financial targets are met. Overseeing the development of project plan documents in relation to scope, budget, schedule, and risk management.
• Should have hands on experience on implementation of Daily Management across functions.
• Exposure to greenfield project will be an added advantage.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to map, analyse, and optimize business processes
• Promote a continuous improvement mindset across the organization through training, coaching, and best practice sharing
• Proposing improvement projects for processes and production lines aimed at reducing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

• Candidate should holds a degree in a Bachelor / Master’s in Engineering
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
