Our Grid Integration portfolio spans a wide range of transmission and substation applications, which facilitate reliable and efficient system integration of the future digital electric network with minimum environmental impact.

We incorporate the integrated systems, solutions and services of our business' DC and AC fields, including HVDC, Substations, FACTS, Grid and Power Quality solutions such as offshore wind connections, and Semiconductors. We offer Power Consulting for key segments in the energy system, such as renewables, transmission distribution and as well as e-transportation solutions.

How you’ll make an impact

1. You will deliver technical support (digital system architecture/solution design, research and development, project proposal and execution) in one or some of following technical areas.

2. You will work together with energy consulting global/local team to deliver technical solutions, project proposals, and project execution also play a leading role in the digital system architecture/solution design according to customer needs.

3. You will work with team to strongly support the research and development activities of virtual power plant/demand response or other digital solution; and perform the optimal control strategy design and solution development.

4. You will support the team in the application studies related to renewable integration, energy storage, microgrids, basic power system analysis, etc.

5. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

6. Living Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

1. You hold a Master's degree and above, strong technical background in electrical engineering/automation, electricity market/economics, optimization.

2. Good knowledge of power system operations and energy transition; software skills in C/C#/Java.

3. Experience in communication interface development and tests; experiences in the studies related to mathematical optimization, electricity price forecasting, energy trading is a plus.

4. DIgSILENT PowerFactory or other power system analysis softwares is a plus.

5. Being an open minded and team spirit, excellent innovation capability; self-motivated, willing to take responsibility of different tasks and new challenges.

6. Required with good communication skills.
