We are looking for an experienced and visionary Factory Manager to lead all operational aspects of a single production unit. Our manufacturing site in Brno belongs to the global network of factories supplying standard components and is of strategic importance while undergoing an important business transformation. This is a strategic leadership role with full accountability for manufacturing operations, engineering, quality, planning, maintenance, and health & safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement Global Strategy: Drive the execution of global strategy within the production unit to ensure efficient and profitable operations.
  • Leadership: Inspire and lead manufacturing and operations teams to achieve excellence in performance.
  • Technology & Competency Development: Oversee and continuously improve manufacturing technologies and competencies in alignment with business objectives.
  • Safety Culture: Promote and enforce a strong Safety culture across the unit, ensuring Safety remains the top priority throughout the value chain.
  • Operational Oversight: Maintain full accountability for operational KPIs — Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Cost — with overall responsibility for Profit & Loss.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support customer relations, product management, business development, and sales as needed.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute short- to mid-term strategies (1–3 years) to optimize organizational performance and talent development.
  • Team Development: Lead multiple teams of senior managers, fostering innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • HR Alignment: Ensure the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled, and directed, with guidance and development of subordinates in line with HR policies.
  • Factory P&L responsibilities, ensuring the financial KPI's are met
  • Digital Transformation: Drive digital factory implementation and enhance SAP utilization.
