The Opportunity

We are looking for a Factory Manager to lead one of our GI Valves Factories in Sweden. In this role, you will oversee all operational activities, ensuring that production processes, capacity, and capabilities align with business needs and strategic goals. You will drive operational excellence, foster continuous improvement, and guarantee that safety, quality, and efficiency remain top priorities across all manufacturing operations.
 

How you'll make an impact

  • Take full accountability for factory operations, including safety, quality, production planning, and resource allocation.
  • Achieve production targets while maintaining cost efficiency and timely delivery of products.
  • Lead and motivate local teams, setting clear objectives and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Champion health and safety standards and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Drive process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • Manage factory budgets, optimize resource allocation, and oversee CAPEX planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and progress.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and governance structures for performance tracking and compliance.
     

Your Background

  • Proven experience in factory or operations management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, including experience leading other managers.
  • Solid understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
  • Ability to optimize processes and embrace digitalization initiatives.
  • Strategic mindset with experience in process improvement and operational planning.
  • Fluency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken is required
