How you’ll make an impact
1. You will perform complex on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of high voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, and related control systems according to technical specifications and project timelines also will conduct routine and preventative maintenance, including inspections, adjustments, and component replacements, to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.

2. You will diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, electrical faults, and operational problems in high voltage switchgear using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment also will execute emergency repairs and provide timely technical support to minimize downtime and ensure customer satisfaction.

3. You will collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and engineering departments to understand project requirements and provide technical insights during pre-sales and post-sales phases also will prepare detailed service reports, maintenance logs, and technical documentation for each service intervention.

4. You will provide training and technical guidance to customer personnel on the operation, maintenance, and safety procedures of Hitachi Energy switchgear and adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards during all field activities.

5. You will maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay updated on new product developments and technological advancements within the high voltage switchgear industry and manage and maintain field service tools, test equipment, and spare parts inventory.

6. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

1. You hold a bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related technical field.

2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in field service, installation, commissioning, or maintenance of high voltage switchgear (e.g., GIS, AIS, Breakers, Disconnectors).

3. Strong understanding of electrical power systems, control circuits, protection relays, and associated equipment.

4. Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.

5. Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues independently.

6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail and ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a dynamic field environment.
7. Willingness to travel extensively (domestic and potentially international) and work flexible hours, including on-call rotations, as required with valid driver's license and a good driving record.

8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
9. Proficiency in English is required; proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is a significant advantage.
