How you’ll make an impact

1. You will identify, assess, and manage HSE risks, ensuring compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, and Hitachi Energy's global operating system (OS) for HSE and Sustainability, also manage and resolve any regulatory or legal HSE-related issues within Hub NAS, ensuring compliance with local laws and standards. 

2. According to annual HSE plan from headquarters, you will ensure the BU priority and combined with the incident lessons learned and audit result (internal and external), develop annual priority, improvement plan and KPI.  

3. You will monitor and report on Hub HSE performance metrics, providing actionable insights to drive improvement and maintain high standards, also lead initiatives to improve HSE standards, promotes a culture of excellence, and monitors performance for continuous improvement.

4. You will provide expert advice and support on key HSE issues, including LSR and SF6 management, facilitating best practices across local operating units, ensure a uniform approach is delivered throughout the organization and overall incident management responsibilities for Hub NAS, including incident classification, appointing investigators, follow-up of corrective actions and distribution of lessons learned briefings.

5. You will drive the development and delivery of HSE training programs tailored to Hub needs, enhancing workforce competence and compliance, and fostering a proactive HSE culture and assist management team in understanding obligations, liability and how to fulfil their roles, according to applicable local HSE laws and Hitachi Energy standards and programs.

6. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

7. Living Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background 

1. You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Health, Environment related field with a nationally recognized HSE certification.

2. Required with 10+ years of experience in a complex, matrix-based organization.

3. Demonstrated strong leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels. 

4. Proven ability to manage multiple resources across diverse geographical locations. 

5. Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach, effectively balancing long-term planning with daily operational execution. 

6. Experienced in developing and implementing strategies that deliver measurable business results. 

7. Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
