The opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Hub Operations Manager – Grid Automation to oversee and optimize operational efficiency in our Grid Automation business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving execution excellence across project management, manufacturing, supply chain, customer deliveries, and service operations while ensuring profitability, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of Grid Automation projects, ensuring on-time delivery, cost control, and quality compliance.
  • Monitor key operational KPIs, including project completion rates, lead times, and revenue realization.
  • Ensure full respect for contractual obligations, dispatch planning, and project execution without short supplies.
  • Work closely with supply chain and factory teams to optimize procurement, material availability, and production schedules.
  • Ensure efficient coordination with vendors and suppliers to mitigate risks of delays or short supplies.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency in manufacturing and assembly.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring high service levels and timely resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with sales and business development teams to align operations with customer requirements and market expectations.
  • Represent the company in customer interactions, negotiations, and escalation meetings when required.
  • Drive cost optimization and margin improvement initiatives across the operations function.
  • Ensure revenue protection by minimizing project deviations, optimizing resources, and maximizing time booking.
  • Track and report financial performance, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency gains.
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and operational staff.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, integrity, and collaboration. Implement best practices in project execution, automation, and technology adoption to improve operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards as per industry regulations and company policies.
  • Proactively identify risks related to supply chain, execution, and financials, implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee audits and compliance requirements for operational processes.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in electrical engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in operations, project execution, or supply chain management, preferably in Grid Automation, Substation Automation, Protection & Control, or Power Systems.
  • Strong understanding of project management, lean operations, supply chain logistics, and manufacturing.
  • Experience working with utilities, EPC contractors, industrial customers, and regulatory authorities.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple stakeholders, and drive operational excellence.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Data-driven decision-making with strong analytical and financial acumen.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, project management tools, and automation technologies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
