Our Grid Integration portfolio spans a wide range of transmission and substation applications, which facilitate reliable and efficient system integration of the future digital electric network with minimum environmental impact.
We incorporate the integrated systems, solutions and services of our business' DC and AC fields, including HVDC, Substations, FACTS, Grid and Power Quality solutions such as offshore wind connections, and Semiconductors. We offer Power Consulting for key segments in the energy system, such as renewables, transmission distribution and as well as e-transportation solutions.
How you’ll make an impact
1. You will support both tenders and projects for HVDC system design, either locally or globally and develop personal competency by well accomplish each assignment.
2. You will support in calculating HVDC main circuit parameters, design single line diagram, operation modes, RPC etc.
3. You will do model and study the performance and stability of HVDC system through simulations with PSCAD/EMTDC, Power Factory, PSSE etc.
4. You will be efficiently cooperate with every cross-function interface, make sure the understanding of each other’s need is sufficient.
5. You will understand customer’s requirement thoroughly, ensure on time and high-quality delivery.
6. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
7. Living Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Your background
1. You hold a degree in master's or above of engineering in Power System/Power Electronics.
2. HVDC working experience or knowledge will be considered as a plus.
3. Extensive knowledge of power systems.
4. Preferably experience of power system calculation tools such as PSCAD/EMTDC, Power Factory, PSSE and MATLAB.
5. Willingness of collaboration and sharing with team members.
6. Strong self-learning aptitude with a high technical interest.
7. Fluent English in speaking and writing.
