The opportunity

Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities, employs over 1,900 staff, and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products, Solutions and Services.  Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications, including power generation, transmission and distribution, oil, chemical and gas, industrial manufacturing, semiconductor and data centers, as well as building and transportation sectors.
 
Nearly half of our white-collar workforce comprises employees in engineering and scientific fields. Internally, we have targeted talent development programs for employees at different stages of their career development to build skills and competencies, foster training, support people to own career development, scale up organization for growth and execution.

How you’ll make an impact

1. You will support the execution of the HUB sales strategy and business development initiatives, also develop and maintain sales plans using Salesforce, conducting regular reviews to monitor progress and identify any challenges.

2. You will implement proactive measures and adjust strategies to ensure targets are met.

3. You will assist in conducting market analysis to understand customer behavior, strategies, and preferences, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of competitors.

4. You will contribute insights to help define the pricing strategy for each opportunity in collaboration with supply chain and regional sales teams.

5. You will do performance tracking monitor and analyzing sales performance metrics, preparing insightful reports and presentations for senior management that highlight achievements, challenges, and market trends.

6. You will support in opportunity management Analyze market conditions, customer feedback, and competitor data to identify growth opportunities and customer relationship management.

7. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

1. You hold a bachelor's degree or above, in Engineering, International trading.

2. Required with minimum 5 years of professional experience in technical sales/pre-sales, working on technical sales support/expert role, tender/bid engineer or similar position.

3. Customer focused attitude who can communicate effectively, thinking and acting systematically.

4. Aggressive to learn and teamwork concept, flexible to travel frequently.

5. Customer focused, entrepreneurship mindset and results-oriented to deliver solutions that make a difference and drive the business.

6. Ability to effectively interact and influence people from inside and outside the organization. Curious, willing to learn, collect information from different sources and integrate to propose sound solutions.

7. Proficiency in English communication and writing.
