Job Summary

As a Lab Tester at Hitachi, Ltd., you will be responsible for conducting various tests on products and components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. You will meticulously document findings, analyze data, and contribute to the overall quality assurance process within our advanced laboratory environment.

Job Responsibilities

* Execute a variety of laboratory tests on hardware, software, and integrated systems according to established protocols and test plans.
* Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration and troubleshooting minor issues.
* Collect, record, and organize test data accurately and efficiently, utilizing appropriate software and tools.
* Analyze test results to identify defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
* Prepare detailed test reports, summarizing findings, observations, and recommendations.
* Collaborate with engineers and other team members to understand product requirements and test objectives.
* Identify and document non-conforming products or processes and assist in root cause analysis.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices within the laboratory environment.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing procedures and methodologies.
* Perform basic maintenance and housekeeping of the laboratory area.

Job Qualifications

* Associate's degree in a technical field such as Electronics, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related discipline. Bachelor's degree preferred.
* 1-3 years of experience in a laboratory or quality assurance testing environment, preferably within manufacturing or technology.
* Proficiency in operating various testing equipment and instruments.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
* Ability to accurately record and analyze data.
* Basic understanding of scientific principles and testing methodologies.
* Familiarity with quality control standards and procedures.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
