How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Optimal sizing and design of E-STATCOM technology.
  • Dynamic performance studies for FACTS technologies.
  • Combined design and performance investigation for FACTS technologies and AC chopper solution.
  • System performance impact analysis for offshore wind farm connections.
  • Application of FACTS solutions for AI datacenter stabilization.
  • Modeling, control design, and stability analysis of grid-forming STATCOMs and E-STATCOMs.
  • Application of AI/ML methods to FACTS control and design.
  • Live Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your actions while caring for colleagues and the business.

Your Background

  • Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Sweden within the areas of power system, power electronics, control engineering, and/or renewable energies.
  • Proven motivation, problem solving ability, and a structured approach to completing tasks.
  • Familiarity with MATLAB, Simulink, and PSCAD environments is a plus.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, for clear and effective communication.
