The opportunity

Hitachi Energy, is looking for a highly motivated Product Security Specialist, to be responsible to Establish an Enterprise Approach to Product Risk Management. How You Will Make an Impact

  • Review product risk from security control testing and vulnerability management activities

  • Provide technical guidance on tool integration and product cybersecurity vulnerability remediation

  • Lead development and implementation of innovative solutions for product risk management

  • Manage product security content and documentation for audit and compliance reporting

  • Support best practice implementation and continuous improvement initiatives across processes

  • Establish oversight of end-to-end product risk management and ensure policy compliance

  • Conduct product risk impact assessments and track remediation with business units

  • Drive awareness of vulnerability findings and secure development practices across teams

Your Background

  • Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

  • 8+ years of experience in vulnerability management and cybersecurity processes

  • Strong project management skills and experience with risk and incident response handling

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including presenting to varied audiences

  • Security certifications (e.g., SANS GIAC) and audit experience are a plus

  • Practical experience in product security or industrial control systems preferred
