How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Lead technical design and engineering deliverables for substation automation projects.
  • Configure and test SCADA systems, protective relays, and communication devices.
  • Perform electrical testing using advanced tools like DOBLE and OMICRON.
  • Coordinate project activities across design, production, and commissioning phases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Engage with customers to optimize solutions and maintain high satisfaction.
  • Support project managers with technical input for proposals and risk assessments.
  • Drive continuous improvement and share best practices across teams.
    Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.








Your Background
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in substation automation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of SCADA, protection systems, and communication protocols (Modbus, DNP3, GOOSE).
  • Hands-on experience with electrical testing using DOBLE and OMICRON equipment.
  • Familiarity with utility substation operations and standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
    Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
