Key Responsibilities

  • Execute daily accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processes.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and management dashboards to provide actionable insights for business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with Honeywell's financial policies, SOX requirements, and local statutory regulations through rigorous documentation and audit support.
  • Manage fixed asset registers, depreciation schedules, and capital expenditure tracking with precision and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, operations, and tax experts to resolve discrepancies and optimize financial processes.
  • Identify process improvements and implement automation tools to enhance efficiency and reduce errors in accounting workflows.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field from a recognized university (experience)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles within a multinational corporate environment (experience)
  • Proficiency in Indian GAAP, IFRS, and statutory compliance requirements (experience)
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle Financials, or Tally (experience)
  • Strong knowledge of financial reconciliation, reporting, and audit processes (experience)
  • CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification (preferred but not mandatory) (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Finance, MBA (Finance), or CA/CMA certification (experience)
  • Experience in manufacturing or technology sectors with SOX compliance exposure (experience)
  • Advanced Excel skills including VBA macros and Power BI for financial analytics (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely payments and collections while minimizing discrepancies
  • Maintain general ledger accounts, perform monthly reconciliations, and support period-end financial closes
  • Prepare accurate financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for management review
  • Conduct fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation calculations, and inventory valuations
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, regulatory filings (GST, TDS, PF), and support internal/external audits
  • Collaborate with business units to resolve accounting issues and implement process enhancements using automation tools
  • Monitor cash flow, banking reconciliations, and intercompany transactions for accuracy and efficiency
