Advanced AI Engineer

Location: Seattle, WA | Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Overview

As the subject matter expert for technical AI projects, you will drive best practices, mentor junior engineers, and deliver AI solutions that power Honeywell's intelligent products across industries like aviation, energy, and safety systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement advanced machine learning models, including deep learning neural networks and generative AI systems, optimized for real-world industrial applications.
  • Lead end-to-end AI project lifecycles, from data pipeline development and model training to deployment on cloud (AWS/Azure) and edge devices.
  • Conduct research and experimentation with state-of-the-art techniques in computer vision, natural language processing, and reinforcement learning to solve complex Honeywell challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts, to integrate AI into product roadmaps.
  • Establish and enforce AI best practices, including model governance, ethical AI principles, and scalable MLOps frameworks.

  • Perform advanced model evaluation, hyperparameter tuning, and A/B testing to achieve superior performance metrics
