Key Responsibilities

  • Design and engineer advanced BMS solutions using Honeywell's Niagara N4 platform, including system architecture, control logic, and integration with HVAC, lighting, and security systems.
  • Lead the commissioning, testing, and optimization of BMS installations to ensure seamless performance and compliance with international standards like ISO 50001 and BREEAM.
  • Develop custom BACnet/IP and Modbus protocols for interoperability with third-party devices, troubleshooting complex network issues in real-time.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, project managers, and clients, to deliver scalable BMS solutions for commercial, industrial, and critical infrastructure projects.
  • Perform root-cause analysis on system faults using analytics tools, implementing predictive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime.
  • Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical training on BMS best practices and Honeywell proprietary tools.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies like AI-driven analytics and edge computing, proposing innovations to enhance system intelligence.

  • Proven expertise with Niagara Framework (N4/Niagara AX) and BACnet protocols (experience)
  • Experience in HVAC controls, energy management, and building automation projects (experience)
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards such as ASHRAE, ISO 50001, and cybersecurity frameworks like IEC 62443 (experience)
  • Ability to travel internationally as required for project deployments (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering or Automation (experience)
  • Honeywell certifications (e.g., Niagara Certified Developer) or equivalent (e.g., Certified Energy Manager) (experience)
  • Experience with AI/ML integration in BMS or SCADA systems (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Architect and deploy scalable BMS solutions integrating HVAC, fire safety, and access control systems using Niagara tools
  • Lead system integration and testing phases, ensuring 99.9% uptime through rigorous validation protocols
  • Optimize energy performance via data analytics, achieving targeted reductions in consumption for client sites
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex BMS issues in multi-protocol environments (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks)
  • Collaborate with sales and project teams to scope technical requirements and deliver customized proposals
  • Document system designs, generate as-built drawings, and provide client handover training
  • Drive continuous improvement by evaluating new technologies and contributing to Honeywell's product roadmap
