Advanced Cyber Security Architect/Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Architect and design advanced cybersecurity frameworks for OT/IT convergence environments, including SCADA, ICS, and IIoT systems.
- Lead the development and deployment of zero-trust security models, threat detection platforms, and automated response systems.
- Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and vulnerability analyses for enterprise-wide applications and networks.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and compliance teams to integrate security into DevSecOps pipelines and product lifecycles.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies such as AI-driven threat intelligence, quantum-resistant cryptography, and secure multi-cloud architectures.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness initiatives across global teams.
- Respond to and investigate advanced persistent threats (APTs), producing detailed forensic reports and remediation plans.

- Hands-on expertise with cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid/multi-cloud environments (experience)
- Experience with threat modeling, risk assessment frameworks (e.g., NIST, MITRE ATT&CK), and compliance standards (e.g., NIST 800-53, ISO 27001) (experience)
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or C++ for developing security tools and automation scripts (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent advanced degree (experience)
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC GCIH, or CCSP (experience)
- Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or critical infrastructure sectors with a focus on zero-trust implementations (experience)
Responsibilities
- Design and architect comprehensive cybersecurity solutions tailored to Honeywell's industrial IoT and enterprise systems
- Lead security architecture reviews, threat hunting exercises, and penetration testing initiatives
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and blueprints for global deployment
- Integrate advanced threat detection and SIEM solutions (e.g., Splunk, ELK Stack) with automated orchestration
- Collaborate with R&D teams to embed security by design in product development lifecycles
- Perform regular security audits, vulnerability management, and incident response planning
