- Translate business requirements from leadership into actionable data strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Lead end-to-end data science projects, from data exploration and feature engineering to model validation and production deployment.
- Continuously enhance analytical methodologies by experimenting with emerging techniques like deep learning, reinforcement learning, and generative AI.

Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in a relevant field with publications in peer-reviewed journals (experience)
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Machine Learning or Google Professional Data Engineer (experience)
- Experience in industrial IoT, aerospace, or manufacturing domains (experience)
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize advanced machine learning models for predictive analytics and optimization in Honeywell's core business units
- Lead data science initiatives by defining project scopes, methodologies, and success metrics in partnership with business leaders
- Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and statistical modeling on diverse datasets including time-series and sensor data
- Collaborate with software engineers to productionize models using MLOps practices and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the evolution of Honeywell's data science toolkit and best practices
- Evaluate and integrate emerging AI technologies to enhance analytical capabilities and drive innovation
- Prepare comprehensive reports and visualizations to influence executive decision-making
