Advanced Electrical Engineer

Location: International (Hybrid Workplace)

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop advanced electrical systems, including power distribution, control circuits, and embedded hardware for mission-critical applications.
  • Lead the integration of electrical designs with mechanical and software teams to ensure seamless system performance.
  • Conduct rigorous testing, simulation, and validation of electrical prototypes using tools like SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, and oscilloscopes.
  • Optimize designs for reliability, efficiency, and compliance with international standards such as IPC, UL, and MIL-STD.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate hardware solutions for sustainable technologies and next-gen mobility.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical roadmaps for hardware innovation projects.
  • Troubleshoot complex electrical issues in production and field deployments, implementing root cause analysis and corrective actions.

  • 5+ years of experience in electrical hardware design and development for industrial or aerospace applications (experience)
  • Proven track record in schematic capture, PCB layout, and firmware integration using tools like Altium Designer or Cadence (experience)
  • Hands-on experience with high-voltage/power electronics, signal integrity, and EMC/EMI compliance testing (experience)
  • Strong foundation in analog/digital circuit design, embedded systems, and real-time control systems (experience)
  • Experience with design verification, prototyping, and failure analysis in a regulated industry environment (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (experience)
  • Professional certifications such as PE (Professional Engineer) or Six Sigma Green Belt (experience)
  • Experience with aerospace standards (DO-160, ARP4754) or renewable energy hardware systems (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement electrical systems for advanced hardware platforms, ensuring scalability and performance
  • Perform detailed simulations and thermal/electrical analysis to validate designs under extreme conditions
  • Lead design reviews and risk assessments, mitigating potential failures proactively
  • Develop and execute test plans for hardware qualification, including environmental and stress testing
  • Integrate sensors, actuators, and microcontrollers into full system solutions
  • Collaborate with software engineers to optimize hardware-firmware interfaces
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design processes and product reliability
