Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes using lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and data-driven insights to reduce cycle times and improve yield rates.
  • Develop and implement advanced manufacturing solutions, including automation scripts, PLC programming, and robotic integration for high-precision assembly lines.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on production issues using tools like Fishbone diagrams, 5-Why, and FMEA to prevent defects and downtime.
  • Collaborate with R&D and design teams to transition prototypes into scalable production, ensuring design for manufacturability (DFM) best practices.
  • Lead small-scale kaizen events and continuous improvement projects, tracking KPIs such as OEE, throughput, and cost savings.
  • Maintain and update manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, BOMs, and process control plans, in compliance with AS9100 and ISO standards.
  • Support new product introductions (NPI) by validating processes through pilot runs and capability studies.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, assembly, injection molding, or additive manufacturing (experience)
  • Proficiency in process optimization tools and statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) (experience)
  • Understanding of quality management systems like AS9100, ISO 9001, or Lean Six Sigma fundamentals (experience)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing blueprints (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering (experience)
  • Green Belt or Black Belt certification in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing (experience)
  • Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement manufacturing process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness using lean principles and automation
  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions for production non-conformances, achieving measurable reductions in scrap and rework
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies, such as robotics and vision systems, into existing production lines
  • Perform process capability studies (Cp/Cpk) and DOE to validate manufacturing processes for new product launches
  • Develop and maintain production tooling, fixtures, and work instructions to support high-volume manufacturing
  • Monitor and report key performance metrics (OEE, yield, cycle time) using data analytics tools to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and Honeywell safety standards through regular audits and process reviews
