Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and validate advanced manufacturing processes, including automation and robotics integration, to improve yield, cycle time, and quality metrics.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions using Lean Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate process variations and defects.
  • Develop and deploy digital manufacturing solutions, such as predictive analytics and Industry 4.0 technologies, to enable real-time process monitoring and optimization.
  • Collaborate with design engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to transition new products into high-volume production seamlessly.
  • Mentor junior engineers and lead cross-functional projects to drive cost reductions and productivity gains.
  • Conduct process capability studies, statistical analysis, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards like AS9100 and ISO 9001.
  • Champion continuous improvement events, including Kaizen workshops and value stream mapping, to foster a culture of operational excellence.

  • Proven track record in process optimization, automation implementation, and yield improvement (experience)
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies (Green Belt certification preferred) (experience)
  • Strong proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) and CAD tools (experience)
  • Knowledge of manufacturing standards such as AS9100, IPC-A-610, and IPC J-STD-001 (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering or related field (experience)
  • Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification (experience)
  • Experience with digital twin technology, IoT, or AI-driven manufacturing systems (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement advanced manufacturing processes utilizing automation, robotics, and precision machining to enhance production efficiency
  • Lead failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), process capability studies (Cp/Cpk), and statistical process control (SPC) initiatives
  • Develop and qualify new manufacturing tools, fixtures, and equipment for high-volume production lines
  • Collaborate with R&D and product engineering teams to design for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA)
  • Drive cost reduction projects through value engineering, waste elimination, and supplier process improvements
  • Mentor and train production teams on new processes and conduct regular audits for compliance and performance
