Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and optimize advanced manufacturing processes, including automation, robotics, and lean methodologies to enhance production efficiency and reduce cycle times.
  • Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects using Six Sigma DMAIC methodologies, targeting cost reduction and quality enhancement.
  • Develop and qualify new manufacturing technologies, such as additive manufacturing and digital twins, ensuring seamless integration into existing production lines.
  • Collaborate with design engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to launch new products and resolve complex production challenges.
  • Utilize data analytics and Industry 4.0 tools like MES, SCADA, and IoT platforms to monitor process performance and drive data-informed decisions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and lead cross-functional teams in kaizen events and value stream mapping to achieve operational targets.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001) and Honeywell's safety protocols while innovating sustainable manufacturing practices.

  • Proven track record in implementing lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives in a high-volume manufacturing environment (experience)
  • Hands-on experience with automation systems, PLC programming, robotics, or CNC machining (experience)
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and manufacturing execution systems (MES) (experience)
  • Experience in aerospace, electronics, or high-precision manufacturing industries preferred (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering or related field (experience)
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification (experience)
  • Experience with additive manufacturing (3D printing) or digital manufacturing technologies (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement advanced manufacturing processes to optimize throughput, yield, and cost efficiency in production lines
  • Lead cross-functional teams in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and kaizen events to drive continuous improvement
  • Develop and validate new process technologies, including automation scripts and digital simulations for production scalability
  • Collaborate with R&D and design teams to ensure manufacturability of new product introductions (NPI)
  • Analyze production data using statistical tools and Industry 4.0 platforms to identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions
  • Mentor and train manufacturing personnel on new processes and safety standards
  • Conduct process capability studies (Cp/Cpk) and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards
