Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to optimize production processes, reduce cycle times, and minimize waste.
  • Lead NPI projects from concept through launch, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and on-time delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma methodologies, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with WH, Fabrication, Planning, and PMO teams to align production schedules, resolve bottlenecks, and enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Design and qualify manufacturing tools, fixtures, and processes to support high-volume production of precision components.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield, throughput, and defect rates, reporting insights to leadership for strategic decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and Honeywell quality management systems.

  • Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies (experience)
  • Hands-on experience coordinating cross-functional teams in fabrication, planning, and supply chain operations (experience)
  • Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems (MES) and ERP systems such as SAP (experience)
  • Ability to work on-site in Chihuahua, Mexico with excellent communication skills in English and Spanish (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management (experience)
  • Green Belt or Black Belt certification in Six Sigma (experience)
  • Experience in aerospace or electronics manufacturing industries (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement process optimization strategies to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs by 10-20%
  • Lead NPI projects, managing timelines, resources, and deliverables while mitigating risks through proactive coordination
  • Conduct process capability studies, PFMEA, and DOE to qualify new manufacturing processes and tooling
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (WH, Fabrication, Planning, PMO) to resolve production issues and improve workflow
  • Analyze production data using statistical tools to identify trends, drive root cause analysis, and implement sustainable improvements
  • Design and procure manufacturing aids, fixtures, and automation solutions to support scalable production
  • Prepare and present performance reports, project updates, and improvement proposals to NPI Manager and senior leadership
