Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced manufacturing processes, including automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0 technologies to enhance efficiency and throughput.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve complex production issues, reducing defects and improving yield rates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain, to integrate new products into manufacturing lines seamlessly.
  • Develop and execute process validation protocols, ensuring compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and other industry standards.
  • Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering skill development and promoting a culture of continuous improvement through Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Manage capital projects for equipment upgrades and process improvements, delivering on-time and within budget while minimizing downtime.
  • Champion safety initiatives, performing risk assessments and implementing ergonomic solutions to maintain a zero-incident workplace.

  • Proven track record of implementing process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies (experience)
  • Experience with automation systems, PLC programming, and robotics integration (experience)
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, and OSHA regulations (experience)
  • Ability to travel up to 10% domestically (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering or related field (experience)
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification (experience)
  • Experience with digital twin technology, AI/ML in manufacturing, or additive manufacturing (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy advanced manufacturing processes utilizing automation, robotics, and smart factory technologies to optimize production efficiency
  • Lead root cause investigations and implement data-driven solutions to eliminate production bottlenecks and quality defects
  • Collaborate with R&D and design teams to transition new products from prototype to high-volume manufacturing
  • Develop and validate manufacturing processes, including PFMEA, control plans, and statistical process control (SPC)
  • Manage cross-functional projects for equipment procurement, installation, and qualification, ensuring ROI and minimal disruption
  • Mentor and develop team members through training programs and knowledge transfer on advanced manufacturing techniques
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, targeting reductions in cycle time, scrap rates, and operational costs
