  • 7+ years of experience in advanced manufacturing engineering, with proven expertise in process optimization and automation (experience)
  • Strong background in implementing lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies (experience)
  • Experience with statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP) and process validation in a regulated industry (aerospace preferred) (experience)
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including leading cross-functional teams and capital projects (experience)
  • Ability to travel up to 20% domestically (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering or related field (experience)
  • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean Manufacturing certification (experience)
  • Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies such as IoT, digital twins, or robotics in aerospace manufacturing (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the optimization of manufacturing processes using advanced tools like robotics, automation, and additive manufacturing to achieve 20%+ efficiency gains
  • Design and validate new production processes, including PFMEA, DOE, and capability studies to ensure robust, scalable operations
  • Drive root cause investigations using 8D, fishbone diagrams, and SPC to resolve complex production issues and reduce scrap rates
  • Collaborate with R&D and product teams to transition designs from prototype to high-volume production with minimal disruption
  • Mentor and develop engineering talent, promoting a culture of innovation, inclusion, and safety excellence
  • Manage CAPEX projects for equipment procurement and upgrades, delivering projects under budget and ahead of schedule
