Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end management of complex new product introduction (NPI) and product enhancement projects, from concept through commercialization.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and marketing to align on project goals and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers using tools like Microsoft Project or Primavera.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues early, and implement corrective actions to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Conduct technical reviews, gate reviews, and design validations to uphold product quality and compliance with industry standards such as AS9100 or ISO 9001.
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication, reporting progress to senior leadership and customers while managing change control processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies to optimize project efficiency and product performance.

  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards (experience)
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, product lifecycle management, and stage-gate processes (experience)
  • Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Primavera P6 (experience)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets exceeding $1M and projects with 10+ team members (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Project Management (experience)
  • PMP (Project Management Professional), IPMA Level B/C, or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification (experience)
  • Experience in aerospace, industrial automation, or building technologies industries (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project execution for new product development and enhancements, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate and motivate cross-functional teams to meet milestones and resolve technical and operational challenges
  • Conduct design reviews, prototyping oversight, and validation testing to ensure product reliability and compliance
  • Manage stakeholder communications, providing regular status updates and facilitating decision-making processes
  • Implement change management and scope control to adapt to evolving project requirements without impacting timelines
  • Analyze project performance metrics and drive post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and improve future initiatives
